Jupiter Mugs

These were truly a labor of love. I wanted to experiment with a style of pottery some call “agateware” which features clay of different colors that are marbled together to resemble agates. I learned a lot through this process and I hope to continue exploring agateware as I find the organic texture it creates incredibly beautiful. These mugs feature a gentle peach and cream marbling effect and a burnt red drippy glaze. The slightly rounded shape of the mugs and handles combined with the colors of the clay and glaze remind me of Jupiter, hence the name. I hope they bring you joy. Made with love, from me to you.
