June Bug Mug

This porcelain mug was part of a larger experiment testing different glaze styles. This mug features a notoriously finicky glaze called “June Bug” which throws metallic stars in a dark green base similar to the iridescence of a beetle. This mug had a fight with the kiln and was left with a little battle scar on the bottom but it does not affect the integrity of the mug and has been sanded down. I hope it brings you joy. Made with love, from me to you.
